Our Mission

The Western cape Furniture Inititative (WCFI) was formally established and registered as a non-profit organisation on 13 February 2009. Our main aim is to establish ourselves as a unified industry representative, to have an economic impact on the furniture sector by building and marketing a South African Furnitue Brand locally and internationally through supporting local design and manufacturing.

Becoming a member of the WCFI is simple and affordable.  The benefits of WCFI Membership includes:

  • Access to skills development and accreditation pathways
  • Access to Industry courses offered
  • Access to Industry research
  • Access to WCFI database for marketing and promotional purposes

  • Access to a variety of Government departments and assistance in highlighting Industry specific problem areas
  • Exposure for members via directories ,website and PR activities
  • Full company listing on the WCFI website

Please note WCFI is a voluntary association and is therefore not obliged to automatically accept applicants.  Every applicant is screened to ensure that members are of the highest standing.

R600.00 (single annual payment) OR R800.00 (R400.00 billed twice per annum)
